Parking

If you are required to visit the school office, please use a designated parking slot. For your safety and the safety of all children, please do not park in a driveway. Unless you are picking up a sick child or stopping by the office for a very few minutes, cars are never permitted in the bus port circle.

Before and After School

The safety of all children should be of paramount importance to all adults. It is imperative for adults to drive very slowly and carefully especially in rainy, snowy or icy conditions.

For safety reasons, these rules have been developed:

	The parking lot behind the school must be used in order to allow free access for the buses in the front of the school. It has been designed to be a one-way loop starting at the entrance and going to the right, pass parked cars, and to the back entrance of the school.
	Stop only long enough for your child to exit/enter the car and close the door. We must avoid congestion that is created when parents remain in this area.
	Please o not try to pass another car in the lot. Be exceptionally patient as children disembark.
	Drive to the exit of the parking lot always being careful of children who may be walking to or from school.
	IF YOU NEED TO COME TO THE SCHOOL OFFICE, park your car in a designated spot.

Picking Up Children After School

The safety of all children should be of paramount importance to all adults. It is imperative for you to drive very slowly and carefully especially in rainy, snowy, or icy conditions.

If you are picking up your child at dismissal, please do not arrive before 3:05 PM.

The parking lot behind the school must be used in order to allow free access for the buses in the front of the school. It has been designed to be a one-way loop starting at the entrance and going to the right and passing parked cars to the back entrance of the school.

If you want to wait for your child in the lobby, you may park your car in one of the two "driving" lanes by pulling up to the car in front of you and turning off your engine.

As soon as you meet your child, please immediately return to your car to join other parents as they drive carefully from the parking lot.

If you arrive a few minutes after 3:15, your child will wait at the rear entrance of the school until your car stops in that safe area. Please do not try to pass another car in the lot. Be exceptionally patient as children enter the cars in front of you.

Drive to the exit of the parking lot always being careful of children who may be walking or riding their bicycles from school.

IF YOU NEED TO COME TO THE SCHOOL OFFICE, PARK YOUR CAR IN A DESIGNATED SPOT.
