Samuel Everitt Elementary School can, and will, be whatever we choose to make it. YOU have the power to determine YOUR successes. Remember, the longest journey starts with just a single step. Start off on the right foot and put your best foot forward.

Our school covers the areas of Snowball Gate, Forsythia Gate, parts of Red Rose Gate, the apartments on New Rodgers Road and the homes on Durham Road.

For the 2006-2007 school year, Samuel Everitt will have 1 AM and 1 PM Kindergarten sections, 1 Pre-First, 3 sections of 1st Grade, 3 sections of 2nd, 3 sections of 3rd, 3 sections of 4th and 2 sections of 5th Grade.

We have full time Specialist Teachers in Art, Gym, Library and Music.

We also have a full time Computer Lab Aide. Our computer Lab consists of 30 Dell Computers in the lab, with Internet Assess. In addition, our library has 15 internet assess computers.  This year the district installed a teacher workstation computer in each classroom.

We also provide safety patrol and Intramurals for Grades 3, 4, and 5. We offer Chorus for Grades 3, 4, and 5 and Orchestra and Band.

The Samuel Everitt School offers a "prevention & intervention" program for all our students through the ASSIST Team. Our focus is on identifying students who may be experiencing difficulty with basic learning or life skills.
