The school day ends at 3:15 PM.  Students are not permitted to leave school before this time except for special reasons.  When unavoidable circumstances, medical appointments, etc, occur which require that the student leave school before the end of the day, a note of explanation should be sent to the classroom teacher.  The parent is required to call for the child at the office and sign the student out of the school on the form provided.  If you child is going to be a "walker" on any given day, please send in a note with you child that morning.  Children will be released to the custody of the parent or OTHER ADULT LISTED ON THE EMERGENCY CARD (identification will be required) provided these procedures have been followed.

Early dismissals should take place at a time when the regular dismissal routine of the school is not interrupted.  Please do not ask for the office staff to secure your child from the classroom simply because you have arrived a few minutes early.  Meeting arrangements should be coordinated between parent and child before the student leaves for school in the morning.
